Which implants are used more often for breast augmentation: silicone gel or saline?

Still going back to the ASPS 2013 National Clearinghouse of Plastic Surgery Stastics:

Which breast implants are more common: silicone gel or saline implants?

SILICONE GEL IMPLANTS: 72%

SALINE IMPLANTS: 28%

This reflects what I see in my practice.  I do all kinds of implants: round vs. anatomic (the style 410 gummy bear is considered a shaped anatomic implant), saline vs. silicone gel.  The choice is always a personal one, and there are many factors to consider.  Please see my numerous blogs on the subject.
