Restylane Lyft – Three things to know.

Posted on September 22, 2015

mother-daughterRestylane is not new.  It is a widely used hyaluronic acid (HA) filler for soft tissue filling.  As we age we lose volume, particularly in the cheek, eye, and lip areas.  HA fillers are great to correct these issues.  I like them because they are natural; they can be reversed if you do not like the look; and they do not leave residue or scarring in the tissue.

  1. Restylane Lyft is what we formerly called Perlane.  It is a bigger filler than Restylane or Restylane Silk and is great to add volume, particularly at a deeper level like in the cheek and nasolabial fold.
  2. It is the first and only HA filler to be FDA approved to add fullness to the cheek and smooth the nasolabial folds (smile lines).
    • NOTE:  Many HA fillers have been used for years in the cheek and nasolabial folds.  It is just considered an “off label” use.
  3. They now have a rewards program to help with discounts and rewards.  It is called ASPIRE Galderma Rewards.  I welcome this program, as this filler will need to be redone in 6-12 months, and we welcome any savings.
