The Aesthetic Society is an arm of Plastic Surgery dedicated to those surgeons who do a significant amount of elective cosmetic surgery. Their motto, “The Mark of Distinction in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery.” To become part of the society, you have to submit case logs of your cosmetic cases, letters of recommendation, CME specifically for cosmetic surgery, and you must also be a board certified Plastic Surgeon.
